Teresa will give a short talk about a problem that arose in WWI and that was how to house the troops quickly and efficiently. This is a story of Colonel Nissen, the inventor, and a mechanical draughtsman who developed the Nissen Hut that provided warm and dry accommodation for the soldiers and helped to boost morale in a devastating war.
